Today -Cakes and biscuits of the UK
I am a big fan of cakes and biscuits of the UK and I really think the UK excels in this area.

I have tried about half of them but certainly not all and I really am partial to a fair bit of cake.
I have to say the Liverpool tart looks a bit tasty and I know for a fact I just adore caramel shortbread, so much so I really ought to try and make it. Raspberry buns sound great too don’t they but ick to tablet. Tablet reminds me of walking holidays as a teenager when we ran out of money and were trying to keep opur energy levels up. We lived off tablet and crisp sandwiches for a week!
I am not a fan of almonds which rules a few of these out I suppose. As a veggie I don’t eat marshmallow either so Tunnock teacakes are a no ( If anyone has a veggie teacake recipe I’d be keen to see it!) Pepper cake looks interesting!
